A Garden Oasis: The moment I stepped into this tranquil retreat, I felt like I had entered a lush tropical paradise. Surrounded by vibrant plants and flowers, the garden at Grand Freedom was a feast for the eyes. It was as if I had been transported to a magical forest, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Dirt Road Access: For some, the dirt road leading to the hotel might pose a minor inconvenience.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with a lovely jungle surrounding that offers sightings of peacocks, monkeys, and even elephants. It's within walking distance of Sigiriya Rock and also close to buses heading to Polonnaruwa. - Nearby Property Delight is a great dining option that I visited once or twice during my stay.

I had the most amazing stay at Grand Freedom in Sigiriya. The moment I entered my room, I was blown away by the level of comfort and attention to detail. The spaciousness and beautiful decor made me feel like I was in a 5-star hotel. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were absolutely delicious and felt like they were prepared by a top-notch chef. The family that runs the place was incredibly warm and accommodating, making me feel like I was part of their own family. They even took the time to show me their saris and gave me one as a gift, which was such a special and unexpected gesture. The prices at Grand Freedom were more than fair, making it even more appealing. And to top it off, the location was excellent, with a stunning swimming lake just a short walk away. I can't recommend Grand Freedom enough. It truly exceeded all my expectations and made my stay in Sigiriya unforgettable.

The room at Grand Freedom was amazing! It had a private bathroom with a bidet, which made me feel effortlessly comfortable. Plus, having a balcony was delightful, letting me enjoy the beautiful surroundings right from my room.
Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the tumble dryer in the room. It felt a bit unnecessary for me, but I get that others might find it helpful.
